EBSB Collecting Money for Haiti Earthquake Victims
For immediate release
Contact: Lisa Kornachuk
Phone: 978-977-2252
EBSB Chairman and CEO Richard Gavegnano pledged a $2,500 contribution from the Bank. Employees, corporators, trustees and directors are also making contributions.
“You can’t help but feel the pain in Haiti; the speed and ferocity of destruction, the sudden and growing horror, the abject grief at so many lives lost and some many hanging in the balance. We look for bits of good news and rays of hope and can take solace in the fact that the Red Cross, among other worthy organizations, is there and has the experience and wherewithal to bring relief” says Gavegnano.
If you would like to make a contribution to the fund, donations can be dropped off at any of EBSB’s 13 branch offices during business hours or donations can also be mailed to:
East Boston Savings Bank
Attn: Haiti Relief Fund
67 Prospect Street
Peabody, MA 01960
All checks should be made out to the American Red Cross – Haiti Relief Fund. Donations will be accepted until February 6, 2010. For more information about the American Red Cross, please call 1-800 HELP NOW or email info@usa.redcross.org.
