FT Branch Officer, Cambridge Branch

  • Responsible for all aspects of the operation and staff of a full service banking office with deposits of $100 million or less.

    Requirements: Minimum of three to five years experience in outside sales and/or business development.

    Preferences: Five years progressively responsible management experience in the banking industry.

Schedule:  TBD (availability during branch business hours)
At least one late night and some Saturdays.



FT Administrative Assistant/Loan Processor, Loan Center, Mt Washington Bank
MWB 2001-46

  • Serve as receptionist and administrative assistant for reception area at 455 West Broadway, South Boston location.
  • Responsible for greeting customers and visitors to the building in a professional and welcoming manner.
  • Responsible for providing administrative support to residential mortgage & consumer lending division, including  setting up loan files, and other duties related to processing mortgage and home equity lines of credit.
  • Perform clerical functions required to provide a high level of customer service and refers various bank products and services. 

    Requirements:  High school diploma required.  Previous administrative support experience required with strong attention to detail and solid MS Office knowledge.  Prior real estate lending experience preferred, but not required. 

    Schedule:   
    Monday - Friday: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.



PT Teller, Orient Heights, East Boston
EBSB 2011-81

  • Serve customers extraordinarily and introduce new and potential customers to our deposit and loan products and services.
  • Follow bank policies and procedures as well as banking laws and regulations.
  • Settle and reconcile all work at shift-end and perform all duties with accuracy and friendliness.
  • May travel to other branches as needed. 

    Requirements: High school diploma, at least one year of work experience in retail, transactional and/or customer service related work; proficiency in common office software, respectful verbal skills, sound computational skills, attention to detail. 

    Schedule:  Friday: 2:00PM -7:30PM
                         Saturday: 8:30AM - 1:00PM



PT Teller, Cambridge Branch

  • Follow bank policies and procedures as well as banking laws and regulations.
  • Settle and reconcile all work at shift-end and perform all duties with accuracy and friendliness.
  • May travel to other branches as needed. 

    Requirements: High school diploma, at least one year of work experience in retail, transactional and/or customer service related work; proficiency in common office software, respectful verbal skills, sound computational skills, attention to detail.  Retail sales or teller experience a plus: bilingual a plus. 

    Schedule:  Thursday: 8:15AM - 5:15PM
                          Friday: 8:15AM - 6:15M
                         Saturday: 8:45AM - 1:00PM



FT Senior Accounting Specialist, West Broadway, South Boston, Mt. Washington Bank
MWB 2011-44

  • Reports to the Deposit Operations Supervisor.
  • Responsible for reconciliations and accounts payable functions performed by the accounting department.
  • Produces a variety of scheduled accounting reports.
  • Researches and reviews accounting items and collaborates with other departments to ensure proper GL balancing.
  • Participates in Deposit Operations department projects.  

    Requirements: Minimum of an Associates degree required, preferably with an accounting concentration.  At least three years of directly related experience with in a banking environment.  Strong knowledge of MS Office with an Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of Excel is a must.  Good organizational and communication skills are essential to the overall success of this position.  Financial reporting experience strongly desired.  Prologue software experience a plus but not required. 

    Schedule:  40 hours per week 



FT Senior Accountant, Accounting, Peabody Corporate
EBSB 2012-03

  • Serve customers extraordinarily and introduce new and potential customers to our deposit and loan products and services, while closely following bank policies and procedures as well as banking laws and regulations.
  • Responsible for assisting the Controller in the accounting and daily processing performed by the finance department.  
  • Participate in ad-hoc projects undertaken by the department.  Includes GL account recons, review of pre-paid and accrued expenses, cost allocation provisions, maintaining purchase/lease documentation, tracking net book value in the fixed assets system, timely payment of all associated taxes and fees and all other responsibilities related to accounting for fixed asset system and ensuring appropriate accounting treatment for each asset.
  • Assisting in the processing of the Bank's accounts payable and wire transfer functions.
  • Back-up assistance to the accounting department staff.  

    Requirements: Bachelor's degree required, preferably with accounting concentration.  At least three years of directly related experience.  Knowledge of information systems, with specific knowledge of financial software and common office applications.  Specialized training or experience in financial reporting, bank operations, budeting, accounting, or auditing.  Additional on the job training as required. 

    Schedule:  40 hours per week - Monday - Friday
